Fifteen year olds can be tricky. And girls, trickier yet! I wanted her celebration to be special, but not too little girl-ish. She's kind of in between. She still likes the cute stuff, but desires some sophistication as well. I am especially proud of my cake. It's a recipe I borrowed from my favorite baking friend. Basically a giant chocolate chip cookie. It turned out fabulous with the homemade birthday banner.
